Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located at 3101 Washington St in Midland, Michigan. We are located in the one story, red/brown brick building at the intersection of E. Ashman & Washington St.
Q: I tried calling your office, but no one answered. When will I receive a phone call back?
A: We try to return phone calls as soon as possible. However, sometimes, it does take us 24 hours depending on how many clients we have and what is going on at the office. If you called looking for a same day appointment and we don't return your phone call, then it is because do not have an appointment available.
Q: Do I need to schedule an appointment?
A: Yes. We are only on-site when we have appointments. Sometimes we do have same day appointments available. Please call 989-633-9633 to verify.
Q: I scheduled an appointment; when should I arrive.
A: If this is your first time, it is recommended you arrive around 10 minutes early. If this is not your first time and a regular client, then just arrive about 5 min before the scheduled appointment.
If you are coming in for treatment that is being covered by a prescription or a liability case then you may need to arrive around 15 minutes early so we can review progress.
Q: Do I need to a prescription to have receive treatments?
A: No. You do not need a prescription to have a massage.
Q: Do you accept HSA or FSA?
A: Yes, we do accept HSA or FSA. Depending on your plan administer, you may need a prescription. If needed, we will provide a receipt for your treatment to turn in for reimbursement. If you have any questions, please call us at 989-633-9633.
Q: Do you have a cancellation policy? If so, what is it?
A: Yes, we do have a cancellation policy. If you have to cancel your appointment, we require a 24 hr notice, so we can try to fill that appointment. If you do not provide less than 24 hours notice, you may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the scheduled appointment.
Q: I missed my appointment, will I be charged?
A: Yes, you maybe charged. We do have a no call/no show policy. The policy is that if you do no show up or attempt to contact us, you will be charged for the full appointment. We offer online scheduling that sends reminders via email and text. We understand situations come up, please call us immediately if you plans have changed.
Q: Is massage covered by insurance?
A: The answer is yes and no. Some insurances do cover massage. Kari is a preferred provider for Priority Health and massage is covered under certain policies. You have to check to see if medical code 97140 is covered. Please call if you have questions.
Q: I was in a car accident. Will they cover massage?
A: Yes, we can bill for any liability cases such as slip and falls, workman's comp, and vehicular/motorcycle accidents. When calling please indicate what the situation is. Before appointment can be scheduled we have to verify the claim.
Q: Is there paperwork to fill out?
A: Yes, we do have paperwork for you to fill out.
Q: Are the massage therapists on-site licensed?
A: Yes, we are licensed through the State of Michigan. To maintain our licenses, it is required that we complete 18 continuing education units every three years.
Q: Do you offer online scheduling?
A: Yes, we do offer online scheduling. It is through MassageBook, just click the Schedule Now Buttons.
Q: I tried using your online schedule website but I am not seeing any availability. Are you open or on vacation?
A: In short, yes we are open. Kari works five to six days a week, Monday - Saturday. Karen is in the office four to five days a week, Monday, Wednesday - Saturday. We are in the office, but we do get booked pretty quickly. If you are not seeing a time available. Please feel free to call us at 989-633-9633 and we will try to accommodate you as best as we can.
Q: Do you ladies take time off?
A: Yes, we do. To avoid burn out and to spend time with our families, we do take time off. :)
